The first Lot in "Important Collection of Hikonobu Ise", has attracted so much attention that numerous telephone bids had been waiting for the commencement of the sale of Lot 2149, a Rare and Impressive Archaic Ritual Bronze Vessel (Hu) of Shang Dynasty. Once the auction started, there was already a bid calling for HK$ 3.5 million. With 30 minutes spirited bidding between on-site and telephone bids, this exceptionally magnificent Archaic Ritual Bronze Vessel clinched a deal with HK$ 43.12 million. The Chinese Ceramics in Lot 2153, a Rare and Exceptional Blue and White Dish of Ming Dynasty, Yongle Period also achieved incredible results at HK$11.536 million. With all lots sold the auction achieved the status of "White gloves” sale.
